STRATEGY
In Government, Claire led the development of two National Service Frameworks – on Coronary Heart Disease and Children, Young People’s and Maternity Services – and the highly successful strategy on children’s mental health, “Future In Mind”, leading to major investment in the transformation of services across the country. Much of her work has been leading the development of major cross-sector, multidisciplinary, multi-agency national strategies working across government and involving a wide range of national stakeholders. She chaired the Committee on the health aspects on Child Sexual Exploitation published in January 2014.
POLICY & RESEARCH
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
As a civil servant, Claire developed and implemented policy in a wide range of areas, including children’s services, military health, therapeutic services for victims of violence, as well as a range of clinical services. She has done so by working alongside service users, including children and young people.
Paul devised and implemented the Government HR & Payroll consortium of over 80 diverse public-sector bodies. He also constructed Finance, HR & IT policies for many other public sector bodies.
Both Claire and Paul are experts in programme and project management in their chosen fields, and each has programme-managed multi-million pound assignments.
In addition, Paul is PRINCE 2 qualified, and oversees all project-management work.
